The Purpose of This Blog -- What it is and Isn't
Finding The Money is a blog about (shocking revelation incoming) making money online.  There's a twist, though.

As you can see, there aren't ads or affiliate links scattered all over the place, and my posts aren't about trying to get you to buy anything. I do make money with this blog (mainly through search engine traffic), but that's not the main focus right now -- and I'm a still a bona-fide starving artist, so if you want 6-figure blogging advice, I'm not your guy.

The Main Focus

The main focus of this blog is productive self-expression, yours and mine. People are inquisitive, creative and  productive naturally, and very few of us enjoy working for other people just to get a paycheck.

The goal, then, is to figure out how we can use the internet (especially blogging) to level the playing field and take over our own lives.

About Me

Here are the fascinating details: I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and lived there until my wife dragged me kicking and screaming to LA for a few years. Now we're back in Seattle (her choice, I was very nice about the whole thing).

Besides blogging, I'm a musician, a dad, a slacker, a workaholic and a full-time smart ass.
